A proposal that would allow Floridians to carry concealed firearms without licenses began moving through the state House on Tuesday, as a debate emerged about whether the bill lives up to the “constitutional carry” label given by supporters.
The House Constitutional Rights, Rule of Law, & Government Operations Subcommittee voted 10-5 along party lines to approve the measure, after an at-times tense three-hour meeting.

That's 10 Republicans "for," 5 Democrats "against" the concept of Constitutional Carry...

The bill passed the House, was debated in the Senate, passed in the Senate and is on the way to the Governor.
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. -- Floridians will be able to carry concealed guns without a permit under a bill the Legislature sent to Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis on Thursday. The governor said at a suburban Atlanta gun store that he will sign the bill. The Senate passed the bill on a 27-13 vote.

4. Floridians Are Proud To Be From The “Gunshine” State
Floridians are liberal—liberal about gun ownership, that is. In fact, the state is No. 1 in concealed carry permits, with more than 887,000 issued.* So it’s no surprise that Florida folks are gun aficionados. They like to shoot. And they aren’t afraid to tell you so if you are trespassing on their property.

* Soon to be unnecessary for the most part.
About 15 years back there was an increasing number of "bump and rob" episodes in Florida, targeting people in rented cars. You'd be at a stop light/sign and a vehicle would bump your rear bumper. You would get out to check for damage, the other driver would get out with a gun and rob you.
Robbers had learned that the safest plan was to target rentals which were likely to be driven by folks who had little chance of being armed, with the airlines seeing to robbers' safety. Bump a private car driven by a Floridian was very much a crapshoot, with the robber being the crap.
It got bad enough that rental agencies stopped using clearly visible stickers on their rented vehicles, which effectively said "victims inside!"...

I remember the bump-n-rob era.
When my buddy and I went down to Florida to party and go diving we put his NRA baseball cap on the back deck of the rental car so it could be seen from the rear.
We weren't armed but the criminals wouldn't know that.
