Having no interest in owning an electric vehicle, I had not thought of this.

I personally can’t wait to get my hands on one. Based on my use, I think a plug in hybrid will be a good fit.
Sat in on a marketing panel this past Thursday put on by a major auto manufacturer. One of the people in attendance had a model 3. She said she averages around a 150 a miles a day and has seen an increase of 60 dollars per month in her electric bill. Pretty impressive.
When they asked us who in the group was interested or had a favorable opinion of ev’s. All but 2 raised their hands. At the end they asked us a similar question those two were at least maybe’s.
Re: Electric Vehicles #2
It is not a question of "favorable opinion," or not. My vehicle needs are more than adequately served in three categories:
1 - Driving somewhere: 2000 Celica or Ladyfriend's Mercedes
2 - Hauling stuff: 1987 El Camino
3 - Hauling & chores around the property: 2005 Kawasaki Mule
I cannot imagine spending actual money to improve any of those categories.
