1. March is named after Mars, the Roman god of war,
2. March and June end on the same day of the week.
3. In the Roman calender, March was the first month of the year.
4. March's full moon is called the Worm Moon.
5. Twitter was launched March 21, 2006(we are old...)

The Romans didnt have a specific number for each day they had

Beginning = Kalends, where we get the word Calendar

First week or so = Nones

Then the middle or the Ides. Which was either the 13th or the 15th.

Julius Caesar was warned to "beware the Ides of March."
