Wish I wasn't allergic to catfish.

Sorry, simply a catch and release fisherman here. I like to catch fish, just do not care to eat them. But enjoy!

Are they safe to eat where you live? Can't eat what we catch here. 3M and Monsanto have poisoned the waters in N. Alabama.

Lake Mead and its feeders, they are ok to eat. But I just don’t. When I was living in Maryland many years ago, my dad and I would fish the Potomac and bring out catches back for mom to cook. Bass, catfish (blue and channel, NOT MUD), and carp. Most disgusting thing I ever tasted was carp. Probably why I don’t eat that stuff to this day.

But dad liked it…..no account for taste. ;-)

Strictly a store-bought fish eater here. I wouldn't know how to clean a fish if I was handed one. I'm a city boi.

Thin fried catfish has to be one of the most delicious things I've ever eaten.

Mom cooked up the catfish one day on the grill. For the life of me, I don’t know how she prepped it, it was tasty and I did eat it. But that was a lifetime ago.
