Nothing is up in Alabama.

If the vaccines are as effective as the "experts" say, there shouldn't be as many breakthrough cases....

Maybe, just maybe, the vaccines aren't all that effective in most people. True, they have never claimed they were 100 %, but there sure are a whole lotta people falling in that 5% rate of infection.

Great link! Thanks.
A vaccine to prevent coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) is perhaps the best hope for ending the pandemic. A number of biopharmaceutical companies have applied for U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) emergency use authorization for a new COVID-19 vaccine and a limited number of vaccines will be available before the end of the year.

It is likely that you have heard claims about the COVID-19 vaccine on social media or from people in your life. The quick development and approval of a vaccine may increase your hesitancy about its safety or effectiveness. Let's set the record straight on circulating myths about the COVID-19 vaccine.

They're a rather emotional lot, to be sure.

I deliberately went with an older article. The newer ones are scrubbed and I wanted to find one from early on. If you read it, they claim 100 % effectiveness in children.

I have to worry about Guvna Ivey when she says things like "we have to blame the unvaccinated folks, not the regular folks".

Brings to mind Pedo Joe saying "Poor kids are just as talented as white kids."

The Governor is a staunch Republican, as are the two US senators and both houses of the legislature are controlled by Republicans. It’s not Democrats who are driving the vaccination rates low in Alabama.

It's the people that make their choice.

Why is that a problem for you?

Probably for the same reasons it’s a problem for Governor Ivey (R). She recognises that the virus is being spread by the unvaccinated.

The vaccines are either not effective, or not effective against this varient, or they lose their effectiveness within a few months.
Keep going.

Guvna Ivey will say/do anything to get re-elected... much like she changed from democrat to republican.

And I've noticed now that she has started 'chewing cud'. Big turnoff.
